Martin Skrtel has been ruled out of Wednesday night's home game with Stoke City.

The Slovakian defender has suffered a cracked jaw after colliding with Jamie Carragher during Liverpool's game at Tottenham on Sunday.

"It is not broken, just heavily cracked," confirmed his agent Karol Csonto.

"According to the doctors, Martin should be back in action within two weeks and he should be wearing a special mask.

"I hope that they will find or create a new one for him."
