Andrea Dossena's agent has revealed that there is interest in the Liverpool left-back.

The 28-year-old has failed to impress at Anfield since joining the Reds from Udinese in the summer of 2008.

His agent, Roberto La Florio, has been working hard to secure a move away during the transfer window, but has dismissed rumours linking him with Russian side Zenit St Petersberg, instead focussing his efforts on a switch back to Serie A.

"I don't know anything about an interest from Zenit St Petersburg," he said. "But I can say that there was contact with Napoli and Roma also remain interested."
