Gary created LFC Online back in 1997, when the internet looked a lot less slick than it does today and football fan sites were scarce.

With the exception of the news aggregator Mighty Reds (which later became the official club site), LFC Online was the first Liverpool fan site on the web.

Gary has maintained ownership of the site throughout the years, from the early basic webpage days to the partnership with the Unofficial Football Network which later rebranded as Total Football Network, then onto Footymad.
