Liverpool FC have denied suggestions that Luis Suarez will leave the club following the recent problems.

It is not known whether the Uruguayan striker will face disciplinary action after his handshake refusal caused embarrassment to the club, but media-led rumours that he will be sold in the summer are totally untrue.

After managing director Ian Ayre, manager Kenny Dalglish and Suarez himself issued public apologies, the club will now look to put the matter to bed and concentrate on the rest of the season.
